Is TRANSFORM3RS Looking Rosie??

Last week, we learned that Megan Fox would not be appearing in TRANSFORMERS 3, and that a new role (a new romantic lead for Shia) was being developed. Also last week, we ran an amalgam of images and names of the ladies being considered for that role. Some of the names we printed had already appeared elswhere (TheWrap, for example), while some were passed to us by "highly trustworthy sources". You can find all of the above HERE. One of the names on our list...a candidate revealed to us by said "highly trustworthy sources"...was Rosie Huntington-Whiteley. Seems she is now very close to getting the part. THIS piece at JoBlo asserted as much last week, and now Mike Fleming over at Deadline reveals...

The other actresses on the short-list have been informed that the female lead will go to Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, so unless things fall apart at the negotiating table, she's the new Transformers 3 gal.

Please note: this is not official, or a 100% done deal at the moment - there is still a margin for error. However, Rosie very much seems to be where the part is headed. We'll be back with an official confirm as soon as one is available.
