Mr. Bruckheimer Has Himself A New Space Epic!!

Disney and Jerry Bruckheimer have targeted LIGHTSPEED, an epic space tale from Terry Rossio and Bill Marsilii (DEJA VU).

Story centers on a young pilot who makes the Earth Interstellar Racing Team and must take his ship on a perilous journey across the galaxy on the brink of war. Bruckheimer envisions the project as a live-action and potentially 3D pic.

...says Variety HERE. Just last week a friend and I were pondering when Bruckeimer & Co. would finally realize one of their space projects - wonder if this will be the one which makes it to screens. Would love to get a look at that script...
