Hey folks, Harry here. I'm all set for the festival. Well, not exactly true, I'd like to push the whole festival back one day, just so I could make sure this site was fixed tomorrow, so I could take care of a good dozen different things here at home. So much to do, so little time, but ya know what. Boo friggin Hoo... right? I mean... Yee Haw, I can't wait for the fest.
As a bit of a warm up for speaking at the AUSTIN FILM FESTIVAL, I went over to the University of Texas Campus to address an organization that... personally I think is a real jewel called the University Filmmakers Alliance and they are just about the most organized gung ho group of student filmmakers I've ever had the honor of addressing. A room full of a little over a hundred of them drilled me on all sorts of subjects and... I think I was moderately entertaining to a degree. If you are here at UT, you definitely need to check them out.
Meanwhile, I'm preparing for panels at the Screenwriter's festival with the likes of the screenwriters of THE IRON GIANT, LETHAL WEAPON, MATILDA as well as a one on one Q & A with Robert Altman after his screening of NASHVILLE. Fun part is, I still don't quite know who all I'm on panels with... Sort of picking this up as I go along. But at least this is the cast of characters I can possibly be bumping into...
