I am – Hercules!!
Deadline Hollywood reports that “Kick-Ass” director Matthew Vaughn’s reps are again negotiating to get him aboard “X-Men: First Class,” which depicts the genesis of the Xavier-Magneto relationship.
Apparently talks between the two parties collapsed Thursday but were back on track Monday morning. Vaughn also famously fell out of "X-Men: The Last Stand" before Brett Ratner turned it into the least of the "X" movies.
I am VERY hopeful Fox lets Vaughn loose on the franchise and gives him complete control over its script. If this new "X-Men" is as anywhere near as good as Vaughn’s “Layer Cake,” it will be fucking epic.
