The DUDE sent in this ever so brief telling of THE BIG LEBOWSKI screening that occurred in San.. Awww hell, he tells ya. Stand in awe of The Dude, and DUDE, next time write a larger report next time. What really did it for ya. Though I'm sure the bit about "a little too weird for some" is right on the money. But damn it, I thought Un Chein Andalou was normal.... I attended tonight in Santa Monica of the Coen brothers' "The Big Lebowski."
This movie rocked! It was painfully funny all the way through. Jeff Bridges was really good (usually I can't stand him) and John Goodman was hilarious. Julianna Moore played a really odd character that has a great 'flying' scene. (You'll know it when you see it.)
Most of the crowd loved it... people were cheering and clapping. Afterwards, while we were fillin out the cards, I overheard some people mentioning that it was too weird for them. I thought it was great.
