They're Trying To Make That SPY HUNTER Movie Again...

For a long while, John Woo was trying to make a SPY HUNTER movie starring Dwayne Johnson. Then, Paul W.S. Anderson took a crack at it - which never came together. Now at bat? Warner Bros. and Producers Dan Lin (SHERLOCK HOLMES) and Roy Lee (THE DEPARTED) - who are looking to finally adapt the Midway video game for the screen via a script by Chad St. John (Joel Silver's upcoming SGT.ROCK, and Warner's OUTLAND remake).

"Hunter" follows a highly trained spy whose job it is to eliminate rogue agents when they become liabilities to their governments. He travels in the G-6155 Interceptor, a sports car tricked out with an array of weapons that frequently is challenged by enemy vehicles.

...says THR HERE. The game debuted in 1983, and looked like this: With this in the works, another FAST AND THE FURIOUS film coming, and MAD MAX: FURY ROAD on the way, looks like we're in for some wicked-ass car action. Hope they're fun...
