Hey folks, Harry here. Hmmmm... Heather Graham... musssst seeeee mooooovvvviieee.... Ok ok ok... the film sounds like it sucks ass, but... Heather Grahammmmmmm.... yummmmm..... Moriarty's future wife..... quasi-Adultery.... Evilll.... Well, gosh. This is an early screening for the film so who knows what changes might be made to the film between now and the end of time. So whilst it could very well be bad... Ummm... it has Heather Graham so that isn't really possible... (ACK, Oh yeah... LOST IN SPACE) Ugh...
I recently attended a test screening of the upcoming Miramax comedy Committed starring Heather Graham, Luke Wilson, and Casey Affleck. She plays Joline, a woman whose husband leaves her and relocates out west, where she soon goes to confront him, but ends up helping him in his job and protecting him from a dangerous fellow for some unknown reason. When she gets there she meets all sorts of thinly written charcters who soon turn into occassional sight gags. This movie is just plain awful. The laughs are few and far between, the plot becomes predictable about 30 minutes into it, and as a result the movie becomes slow and boring. I heard someone else say that Heather Graham's performance was better than the material, but that's not saying much because I'd be afraid to see someone whose acting was worse than the script. And I will soon be inducing amensia upon myself to erase from my mind a miscast Casey Affleck as Graham's brother, whose voice seems to rival fingernails on a chalkboard. Supposedly we were one of the first screenings but it seemed pretty much finished with a fitting score and all, which leads me to believe that this film has been shelved for a while. Unless they make some drastic changes in the next three months(like reshooting and rescripting practically the whole thing) this one should be avoided at all costs.
