UNDERWORLD In Space?? Beckinsale In 3-D??

Variety says Len Wiseman will direct another installment of the UNDERWORLD franchise - in 3-D. The piece says this version of UNDERWORLD is "spatialized", presumably lending credence to early rumors that the fourth installment in this series would have something of a space setting. THIS piece at Bloody Disgusting indicates that Kate Beckinsale could return, although possibly in a limited capacity.

sources tell us she's trying to find a way out of the film -- or at least have a smaller role in order to "pass the torch" to one of her kindred (yes, she has not one, but two daughters at this point).

...says BD. Beckinsale in 3-D doesn't sound so bad. Too bad no one's perfect Touch-O-Vision - that would make this a gooooddd movie.
