David Spade and TBS are plotting an animated series based on “The Adventures of Joe Dirt,” Spade’s beloved-by-me 2001 big-screen mockery of poor white people. Spade and fellow former SNL writer Fred Wolf, who wrote the movie’s screenplay, are penning the pilot alongside Donick Carey (“The Simpsons”).
