Buncha Potential Tiny Prequel Spoilers (Not for the sensitive eyes of the hopefully pure)

Ok ok ok... Star Wars Prequel News!!! Now for the problem. Everything here is pretty heavy SPOILERS, not major ruin the whole film spoilers, but still, for those of you wanting to keep the PREQUELS pure for yourself... well this is your warning. If you get past this, then you have indeed gone toooooo far. Because there is some stuff you 'not- wanna-know-people' don't wanna know. As for the rest of us, "I want to know about every single twist, turn, bits, and pieces, and all of that" people... well read on. But REMEMBER what you read is sensitive material that others in this world may not wish to know. SO KEEP IT TO YOURSELF. This ain't newsgroup material, and if you are one of the many site-masters that 'borrow' the "Star Wars" info from AICN, PLEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAASSSSSSSSSSSSEEEEEEEEEE, pass on a similar sort of warning to your readers. We are all responsible for not spoiling it for the ones that don't want to know. After the countdown, the info will continue

LAST WARNING!!!!!!!!

OK, I Told Ya!!!!!

First, I'll start with the least spoilerish news. If this causes you to squirm, don't continue to the next bundle of news/rumors/coolness... This comes from El Spectro Rojo who was listening to Cincinnati Radio yesterday...

I am a long time reader of your page. I love it. I live in Cincinnati and this past week one of the radio stations had an interview with Samuel L Jackson. They asked him about the Star War movies and as usual he didn't say much. He did say that he wants to be in the sequel and that his character doesn't die.

OK, so we know Samuel could exist into the next film now. And that he really wants to. We also know that Samuel had a fantastic time filming this from his appearance on LETTERMAN last night. He acted across from Yoda, some creature with tentacles coming out of his face (Sam called him Calimari) and there was another alien that had to use curlers to get the hair out of his face when eating between takes. He said it was the most fun he has ever had filming a movie. (NOTE this was related to me by a Spy named Old Fart aka Father Geek, who often times gets stuff wrong.)

Then I got this letter from a geek who just discovered the site, he will be known as Judge Death, and he gave us some very interesting details. I had to severely edit his material to disguise the identity of the informant. Don't try to track him down, he is, afterall, Judge Death!!! And here is his verdict....

Hello Harry, I visited your page for the first time today ,after seeing the address on TV (Film 98 on BBC1, UK).

I can see from your stuff you are a big Star Wars fan like myself. I live in (The BBC BROADCASTING AREA), which is 4 miles from Spielbergs new studio (ex british Aerospace hangers) and 6 miles from Leavesden Studios. The whole area is pretty rural and word travels pretty fast. I have some 100% factual information for you on the prequels as well as some rumour stuff.

News on Episode 1.

These ones are true, without I have no doubt whatsoever

My buddy is a member of a local Diving club. This is one of the best diving clubs in South England. (Some people he knew) were employed by Lucasfilm in November to supervise a team of divers & actors in the Meditereanian sea. (He/She/They) was/were gone for 3 weeks where he/she/they said "the entire time was spent filming an underwater battle for the new star wars film". They/She/He had two pictures, both were very crowded underwater scenes, containing men in futuristic underwater gear (his words!). He/She/They are/is being paid until June and was told She/He/They may be called back in that time.

A childhood arch-enemy is currently working for a security firm who have been contracted in as extra security at Leavesden. On hearing this, I headed straight up there hoping to meet him for lunch (and not at all to look around) but as usual I was turned away at the first gate.

We went out for a drink in the evening and I pumped him for info (I didn't really need to, he knows I'm a fan). He actually HATES the films so I have to translate his info, but I'm hope you'll agree with my verdict.

First of all, he has total/partial/no access to the work rooms or studios, but he tends to wander a bit.

He says a big tank was rolled outside for photos. I showed him the official picture of the tank on the Lucasfilm web site and he confirmed that was it. He was asked to assist moving big light reflector sheets into place for the photos. While talking to the staff he was told this is a mockup to keep people off the scent.

I believe this to be true ( that its a fake tank that is) as the picture first released in the Official star wars magazine differs to that on the Lucasfilm web site. The picture is identical except the little rebel insignia has been added to the magazine picture but is not on the original.

He also say there is a big joke around the studio about a mask. He says there are loads of rubber mask of pig face with three eyes. He said everyone seems to have one. I discribed whatshisname (Rhy Yaes?) to him and it seemed to fit. (Another scent throwing gag?)

In December I was treated to a VIP rugby match in Wales, I was taken by helecopter and flew over the studios. At Leavesden there was very little to see There were quite a few fake trees in the back lot, but they didn't look anything special. In Spielbergs back lot there was a lot of activity. There were two giant sets. One was full of action. It was a street set which looked like a deserted town from the wild west. The other set was of a bombed out war zone town. There was no one around. I'm guessing but I think the bombed out town could be a still standing set from Saving Private Ryan as Tom Hanks was back over here for a couple of days (he and Spielberg were here for about 6 weeks at the end of the summer). While they were here they also filmed at a local abandoned church.

Ewan McGregor was on TV being interviewed on friday and said how glad he was to be in the new film. He says he keeps telling his brother who is really jealous. He says he still has his original toy lightsabre. He would not reveal any story.

The bits below are just local rumour

The call at the local acting agency is for 300 local kids required as extras (maybe I could creep in on my knees).

A local freight firm has been asked to pack up some sets for delivery to another European city.

Thats all I've got I'm afraid, hope its new to you. I'll let you know more when I get it. Keep up the great work on your page.

So there you go. Judge it as you will. Sounds interesting at least. And I can tell you, I know what I disguised and switched around, and from the sound of the original document, it seems this is highly reliable sounding. Of course only time will tell.
