Joss Whedon Considering
A Jump To Cable’s FX??

I am – Hercules!! Joss Whedon will be meeting in the next few weeks with FX president John Landgraf, presumably to talk about the possibility of mounting Whedon’s first show for cable. “I have enormous respect for him,” Landgraf told reporters at Sunday’s FX TCA event. FX might prove a good fit for a show from the acclaimed writer-producer-director, Oscar-nominated for his work on Pixar’s animated blockbuster “Toy Story” and Emmy-nominated for his work on The WB’s “Buffy The Vampire Slayer.” Whedon also won an Emmy last autumn for his Internet sensation “Dr. Horrible’s Sing-Along Blog.” Whedon’s current series, Fox’s “Dollhouse,” airs its final episode a week from Friday. His upcoming MGM thriller, “The Cabin in the Woods,” wrapped principal photography last May and hits cinemas early next year. Whedon’s other TV credits include “Angel” and “Firefly.” His follow-ups to “Toy Story” include big-screen thrillers “Speed” and “Alien Resurrection,” and he made his feature directorial debut in 2005 with Universal’s “Serenity.” Find all of’s story on the matter here.
