New 3 & a Half minute TV spot for AVATAR hits!

Hey folks, Harry here and I haven't posted the last several AVATAR link style stories so I haven't really had a chance to ring in with my take on all of this. The coolest new thing that I'm seeing in the recent spate of Trailers and TV spots - have been the paint on the Na'vi faces. Then in this latest spot, there's a shot of Jake's Avatar - waking up with dirt on his face - and man... it is this stuff that looks so damn good to me. The shot of our two love-aliens swimming together... Man. As a fan of CREATURE FROM THE BLACK LAGOON... one of the greatest 3D films in the history of the medium... Watching the Creature swim with fish and the oh so lovely hopeful Mrs. Creature... It adds so much... in black & white. The idea that the psychedelic alien swimming sequence in 3D. In addition to just looking cool - alien skinny dipping is an excellent way for Jake to get his Alien horndog going - and it makes me wonder how intense the romance will go with this film. I'm starting to get a souped up LAST OF THE MOHICANS on another planet feeling - and that's actually kinda friggin super cool. Another thing I'm liking is that Jake's character has more than one hair style in his human form. Sam Worthington has had a very limited LOOK in what we've seen in the 3 films we've seen a part of. And frankly, I am not a fan of his near-bald look that was in TERMINATOR SALVATION, AVATAR and CLASH. But looking at this trailer - you see his character have a passage of time... We really have no idea how long this story takes place over. But we've seen his arrival look, which is that fuzzy headed GI JOE look... and we see that he has hair that looks like it's at least several weeks to possibly a few months worth of growth. This fascinates me, because everything that we've seen - even in the big 30 minute footage - has mainly been from the opening sequences of the film, and not the later stuff. We also don't quite have a sense of how the film is structured, we know Jake drives the AVATAR - but how long can you drive your AVATAR? What are the dangers of the process? Is there a way to permanently imprint into an Avatar? I'm not seeking answers to any of this in advance, but knowing Cameron - I bet there's quite a bit that we have to learn. But Im just continuing to geek out on this film. click here for the latest long tv spot from AVATAR!!!
