The New MEN IN BLACK Movie Has A Writer...

Merrick here...
A while back he learned that Columbia wanted another MEN IN BLACK movie (details HERE). Now we know who is writing it:

Studio has tapped "Tropic Thunder" scribe Etan Cohen to pen "Men in Black 3." There are no deals in place for the franchise's stars Will Smith and Tommy Lee Jones, though it's unlikely that Col would greenlight the project without the duo's involvement.

...says Variety HERE. I can't seem to locate the exact interview at the moment but, if memory serves, didn't Will Smith once say he thought there'd be an MIB 3 to (essentially) apologize for the second film (which he correctly felt was a disappointment to fans)? If I'm right, and if anyone can find that statement, please link to it in the Talkbacks below.
