"TRICK 'R TREAT. Smell My Feet. Sign My DVDs for Me." - Director, Composer, Author Signing Event this Friday in LA!

Greetings! ScoreKeeper here with a quick announcement about a cool CD/DVD signing event this Friday in Burbank that should smack you in the face with Halloween spirit. I just wrapped up a phone interview with Michael Dougherty, director of TRICK 'R TREAT (2009), and the film's composer, Douglas Pipes, who told me that they, along with Marc Andreyko (author of the graphic novel), will be at Dark Delicacies in Burbank, California, this Friday, October 9th, at 7PM to sign DVDs, soundtrack CDs, and books respectively. I wasn't going to have the interview ready in time to get this news out there so I thought I'd drop a quick note announcing it. I first saw TRICK 'R TREAT two years ago and have been aching to write about it ever since. It's a delicious Halloween film sporting an impeccably toned score by MONSTER HOUSE (2006) composer Douglas Pipes. I've got this interview I'll be posting in the upcoming weeks along with a full review of the score just in time for Halloween. If you're in the Los Angeles area this Friday night, swing by Dark Delicacies with your TRICK 'R TREAT Blu-rays, DVDs, CDs, or graphic novels signed. For more information check out the at Dark Delicacies website.
