Big Bow For FLASHFORWARD!! CSI Plummets Nutty 44%!! COMMUNITY & FRINGE Down!! SURVIVOR & VAMPIRE Up!! Thursday Ratings!!

I am – Hercules!!

The networks were all finally at full strength with fresh episodes Thursday night; the 18-49 scores (last week’s scores are in the parentheses): 6.6 (1.8) Grey’s Anatomy 4.1 (---) FlashForward 4.0 (2.0) CSI 3.8 (4.1) The Office 3.7 (3.6) Survivor 3.4 (1.9) The Mentalist 2.8 (3.8) Community 2.7 (3.2) Bones 2.2 (3.1) Fringe 1.8 (2.0) SNL Thursday 1.8 (2.1) Parks and Recreation 1.7 (2.7) The Jay Leno Show 1.7 (1.6) The Vampire Diaries 1.2 (1.2) Supernatural Figures in grey are for repeats. * An episode of scripted television (like the “FlashForward” pilot) beating an original episode of “Survivor” at 8 p.m. Thursday is extremely rare. I think the “Ugly Betty” pilot may have marked the last time. * “Survivor” and “Vampire Diaries” both increased their numbers slightly at 8 p.m. hour despite the arrival of “FastForward.” * “CSI” was down a crazy 44% from its 2008 premiere. The newer “Grey’s Anatomy” was down only 11%. * “Community” and “Fringe” both took big second-week dips, down 26% and 23%, respectively. * “The Jay Leno Show” hit its series low Thursday to tie with the CW’s “Vampire Diaries.” Somebody predicted “Leno” could still make $300 million annually with a 1.5 rating, so I guess we’ll be seeing more of the same in primetime?
