Ryan Reynolds To Be BURIED!!

Still struggling to live down his appearance as Deadpool in WOLVERINE, Ryan Reynolds is now headed towards a decidedly claustrophobic, independently produced thriller called BURIED.

Reynolds will star in "Buried," playing a civilian contractor who's kidnapped in Iraq and awakens buried in a coffin in the desert, armed only with a cell phone, a candle and a knife. Rodrigo Cortes will direct a script by Chris Sparling; production will begin this month in Barcelona.

...says THIS piece in Variety. Anyone remembering a fantastic TV show called G VS E from a while back may recall an episode...called "Buried" (ahem)...which employed an extremely similar concept. I'm pretty sure this conceit's been rolled out elsewhere as well. Which is not to imply this BURIED will blow... but...I'm just sayin'...
