THIS IESB article reveals work on a HITMAN sequel has begun. Says IESB:

IESB has confirmed that 20th Century Fox has hired writer Kyle Ward to pen the script for the sequel to Hitman! [EDIT] Adrian Askarieh, Daniel Alter and Chuck Gordon will return as producers.

I recall being bored out of my mind by the first HITMAN movie and the idea of a second one doesn't get me going in any way. I think watching Timothy Olyphant can be awesome under certain conditions, but nothing about his work in either LIVE FREE OR DIE HARD or HITMAN convinced me that he's a particularly promising or intriguing bigscreen presence. There's a gravity missing...
