Katee Sackhoff on “24’s” eighth season will play Dana Walsh, “a highly respected and down-to-earth data analyst at the new and improved New York branch of CTU,” according to Entertainment Weekly’s Michael Ausiello. Her character will be putting the bone to CTU field agent Davis Cole, played by Freddie Prinze Jr., and “she apparently has a skeleton in her closet she's trying desperately to keep hidden,” according to Ausiello. Also joining the cast are the fabulous Jennifer Westfeldt (“Kissing Jessica Stein”), who plays a journalist, and Mykelti Williamson (“Forrest Gump”). Wrong Williamson, if you’re asking me!! Since Saturday’s episode of “Pushing Daisies” demonstrates that Fred Williamson remains available for TV work, somebody at “24” needs to reach out and put the “Boss” and “From Dusk Till Dawn” star back in the field.
