For every Dirk Diggler, there is a dozen Doug Digglers, whose one special thing ain't so special. This info is Doug's special thing and well it's a bit short. Oh well...
I have some information on the film, The Talented Mr.Ripley, Anthony Minghella is going to direct the film as well. Sidney Pollack is producing the film. The Golden boy in Hollywood right about now, Matt Damon is talks to play a gentlemenly killer and Gwenthy Paltrow is also in talks to star. Paramount is the studio behind the film, I just hope that Paramount doesn't back out on the project like Fox did with the English Patient and I hope that Miramax won't have to save the day.
The Blanks are loaded, and the film is Shooting. Lethal Weapon 4 is underway!
Well as LETHAL WEAPON 4 begins it's insane schedule for release, actually there was a time where actors could make 20 films a year and a director easily made 4 or 5 a year that were released in the same year, but in the modern day sense of things where crews of a billion facilitate massive militeristic style plannings of movements, this schedule for the fourth teaming of Murtaugh and Riggs is not the usual big budget way of things. Maaannnn, do I digress or what, I mean that first sentence looks like I'm going somewhere, but I fooled you. Actually I'm really bad about that, and I really do need to get to the point more. Oh maaaan, damn. Anyway Mr. Beataroundthebush sent this in. By the way, [SPOILER WARNING], you may not want to read the below bit as it details a climactic stunt from the opening of the film. But then don't they usually use the opening stunts for the advance trailer?
This information comes from the Long Beach Press Telegram on X-Mas day.
According to them, Lethal Weapon 4 will start filming in Long Beach next week. The Long Beach shoot will involve MINOR SPOLIER ALERT a scene where a man with a huge flame thrower attached to his back is burning everything up on the strret and terrorizing the downtown area, until Murtaugh and Riggs show up, shoot him in the cannister on his back, where he goes flying like a reject from Rocketeer. He flys into a Gas Station where he crashes into the tanks sending everything up with a big explosian. WOW! (insert sarcasm) Anyway, the purpose of the article was mostly how Warners will do anything possible to make residents happy, including moving them to hotels all expenses paid for a couple weeks. Man, movie making sure has changed. See ya, and Happy Holidays.
