Bloody-Disgusting says Paul W.S. Anderson's adaptation of CASTLEVANIA may not come together.

The project, originally announced with Sylvain White (Stomp the Yard, I'll Always Know What You Did Last Summer) attached to direct, had recently went out to new directors only to take a trip into the abyss of "development hell."

...says THIS REPORT at Bloody-Disgusting. According to BD:

The pic was to focus on the origins of Dracula and the uprising of the Belmont Clan, a vampire-slaying family who supposedly become humanity's last hope. Ian Jeffers had been penning the screenplay alongside Anderson.

Awesome news, if true, although I wish BD offered a few more specific details in the matter for clarity/certainty.
