Word on BEETLEJUICE II, MATT HELM, BIKER'S HEAVEN and 1984

Well, the latest TOTAL FILM has hit the UK market and has some very interesting rumors about projects on the horizon. So, we'll just have to keep our eyes and ears peeled and open for additional details on these projects. Especially that BEETLEJUICE IN HELL bit... hmmmmm

Harry,

don't know if you' ve heard any of these before but.....Total Film Magazine has just been released in the UK and includes these snippets of info.....:

Beetlejuice in Hell

A script is now in circulation that sees our eponymous hero returning to Earth as a human, thanks to a clerical error in the limbo he's resided in for so long. Being human is his idea of hell, so he'll do anything he can to get to get dead and groovy - and that includes proving to the powers that be that he can cause as much havoc alive, as he did when he was dead! Prepare for surfboardimng skeletons, complete with Hawaiian shirts..........

Bikers Heaven

Dennis Hopper's much mooted sequel to Easy Rider is being mooted heavily by Mr. Hopper himself! Apparently it deals with Hopper's and Peter Fonda's characters returning to Earth as ghosts and trying to come to terms with the fact that they are already dead....(!) Jack Nicholson has passed on the project, allegedly, but Fonda is getting right behind it, fuelling Hopper's desire to direct and star...........

Matt Helm project

Apparently 60's Superspy, Matt Helm will ride again, if Warner Bros have their way. The iconic agent, originally played by Dean Martin is being touted as a future project for George Clooney.........an inevitable franchise looms........(!)

1984

Word is that David Fincher is keen to get another version of Orwell's dark vision of the future underway, following an ultra-dark treatment of the script. Apparently Fincher would like Brad Pitt as Winston Smith, while Geoffery Rush is a favourite for a character now known simply as 'The Inquisitor'

Anyway, use what you will.........
