I am – Hercules!!

“Dollhouse” hit a series ratings low last week, as Fox cleverly used a two-hour “Prison Break” to drive even more people away from its Friday Death Slot the week before. “Prison” last week provided an even weaker lead-in than “Terminator,” which is saying something. Last week’s episode, “Haunted,” was another strong one, even though it didn’t dig much deeper into the Dollhouse. I loved how Adelle’s deceased pal learned how her family really felt about her, and I loved how she rectified the situation posthumously. It was interesting to note that both the dead woman and her son used the Dollhouse without the other knowing. The Dollhouse is such an open secret one begins to wonder what took Paul Ballard so long. What is the Dollhouse’s real purpose? We don’t know that yet, and you won’t find out via this nifty recap of the first 10 episodes, with ends with footage from tonight’s: The great Jane Espenson, veteran of “Buffy The Vampire Slayer,” “Firefly,” “Battlestar Galactica” and much, much more, scripted tonight’s mythology-intensive installment, which is titled “Briar Rose” and features the “Dollhouse” debut of “Firefly” vet Alan Tudyk:

Adelle goes to the attic in search of answers, while Alpha reveals himself and sets his game in motion.
