It's "Shelley Meets Chandler" In I, FRANKENSTEIN!

Beaks here...

What if Frankenstein's monster developed to the point where he was able to function as a hard-boiled private investigator? And what if his noir-ified universe included The Invisible Man, The Hunchback of Notre Dame and Dracula (as a crime kingpin, naturally)? This is a movie you'd pay to see, right? If this premise is all I had to go on with I, FRANKENSTEIN, which is to be written by UNDERWORLD co-creator Kevin Grevioux and directed by f/x maestro Patrick Tatopoulos, I'd already be intrigued. But when you tell me the project is being co-developed by Ryan Turek aka "Ryan Rotten" of ShockTilYouDrop.com... well, then I get a little giddy, 'cuz I've known Ryan for close to seven years now, and feel pretty certain that there's not a horror aficionado in Hollywood who can match his love for (and understanding of) the genre. He's one of the best we've got. Turek will be working alongside Death Ray Films' Robert Sanchez and Chris Patton. Sanchez is one of the hardest working guys out there (you've seen his handiwork at IESB.net), so I've every confidence this film is getting made. Grevioux will be adapting from his forthcoming comic book, which will be published by Darkstorm Comics. Best of luck, boys!
