Leonard Nimoy, who next month stars in a movie from “Fringe” creators J.J. Abrams, Roberto Orci and Alex Kurtzman, will assume the very important “Fringe” role of William Bell in the series' first-season finale. Bell was Walter Bishop’s old lab partner before bad and scary things began to happen to the world. Shortly after Bishop was incarcerated, Bell founded the sci-fi multinational Massive Dynamic.
