Killing Mrs. Tingle - By Kevin Williamson as director and writer. Filming to start this spring for a possible October through December release.

Kingdom of the Sun - Disney does the Incan Empire. I wonder if they'll have talking mountains?

King Kong - by Peter Jackson, Universal, you're a buncha cowards. This movie was suppose to go up against GODZILLA. It coulda been the coolest summer of all time, but yall didn't have the cajones for it. Now I have to wait longer. I'm angry. You wouldn't like me when I'm angry.

The Last 6,000,000 Seconds - by Anthony Peckham from book by John Burdett, a Fox film, Jan DeBont was involved. It was a real movie, not just another high concept, but a well written script. Wish it would get made. Coolest title in a long time.

Lennon - that Boogie Nights directing dude does the Yoko and John thing. Rumors of Ralph Fiennes as Lennon.. those rumors should go away. Glen is currently making anguish noises. Sounds his dog made when he sp... Oh go read Harry's World.

Les Misérables - When is this thing supposed to come out. I thought it was a fall flick.

Lethal Weapon 4 - Anything with Jet Li is killer, but damn man, a January start and a July 4th release date up against Armageddon is a tough damn mountain to scale. Especially if ya have to listen to Joe Pesci while ya climb..

List of Seven - by Mark Frost adapted from the novel of the same name. Guillermo Del Toro was going to make this baby. I wish he would. It's coooool

Little Demons by Danny Elfman - a beautifully gothicy story/musical. Me want to see.

Logan's Run - this project is apparently in Cryogenics. Many moons will pass. If it's made watch for a Peckinpah slant. It would kick so much ass, to see runners running for a real scary reason.

Lolita - It's made, but the prudes of this country won't let us see it. Meanwhile those in the enlightened European countries are enjoying it. Sisssafraaasssifrisshhhafrat!!!!

The Lord of the Rings/The Hobbit - Ok, the latest I've heard is Miramax has two directors working up proposals... Director Numero Uno is Peter Jackson and Director Numero Dos is John Boorman. If memory (technically Glen's) serves Boorman was working on this waaaay back before Bakshi did it. Before Excalibur. Hmmmm. Woulda been cool.

Lost in Space - Have ya seen that cool Trendmasters toy. It is like light sensitive, and it lights up, moves around, and talks. Ummmm me want a full dozen of em to follow me everywhere I go.

Love Boat: The Movie - Sweet god Nooooooooooooooooooo

Luke Cage - Did you know that if Tarantino could be any superhero he would be Luke Cage? Hmmmm, I think Quentin could do one hell of a cool Luke Cage, but last I heard another cool director (one that GLEN stepped on) named John Singleton was gonna do it.

Madman - by Dean Roley from the comic of the same name, huh huh huh huh coooool!

Mad Max 4 - if George Miller were to direct and if Mel Gibson starred as that dude who drives in the movie, I would do millions of back flips of joy. But that ain't gonna happen, and I'll be depressed.

Manhattan Ghost Story - by Ron Bass, last I heard Julia Roberts was interested in this project. What's the latest?

The Man in the Iron Mask - Coool Trailer. Anyone seen it?

The Mask of Zorro - Ummmm, hmmmmm, the test screenings were sooooo good, they moved it to summer from Christmas. Hmmmmm... well I hope so.

Mata Hari by Kim Krizan - It's about this spy chick who has epic wild adventures in skimpy clothing... oh wait that's THE PERILS OF GWENDOLYNE IN THE LAND OF YIK YAK, nooooo that's Modesty Blaise

Matrix - by the brothers that did BOUND, now they direct Keanu and Fishburne. Well it once had a great script, but ... keanu... (GLEN COMMENT: Man I wish he'd stop making movies) Anyone agree?

The Martian Chronicles - Rumors have it that Spielberg wants this. Could be awesomely cool.

Meet Joe Black - remake of that Frederic March movie called Death Takes A Holiday. Brad Pitt as the death dude in love.

Meg - Glen says it's the Meg Ryan movie with dinosaurs and submarines, but I think he's kidding about the dinos and subs.

Men in Black 2 - Rumor has it Duchovny and Will do the single letter bit vs thingees

Men With Guns - by John Sayles, FANTASTIC SCRIPT, it was well received at TORONTO, want to see it.

Mercury Rising - Bruce Willis and a kid of limited knowledge fight the evil Alec Baldwin. Ummm that's what Glen says. Any "reliable" people know better?

Mighty Joe Young - This friend of mine and Glen's has a theory about monkeys in movies. He says the more of em ya got, the bigger the box office you'll have. He has extensive records to support his theory. I'll be damned if he didn't nail that Congo piece of garbage. Guess monkeys sell better than sex. I'm dying to see this film.

Mission: Impossible 2 - Yeah right, like Tom will finish Eye Wide Shut.

The Mist - Stephen King and I believe Darabont were going to do this one. Personally it's a digital auditorium's wet dream. Anyone know anything?

The Mod Squad - last I heard this project was going around in circles.

Modesty Blaise - It's at Miramax, Quentin was involved at a production level, but not directing.

Mulan - Disney animated flick of 98. There have been test screenings, but I haven't heard anything.

Mumford - by Lawrence Kasdan, that's all I know.

The Mummy - well there's two of these. An Anne Rice one, and ... the other one. Both are in development, however, I can't imagine the mummy looking better or more atmospheric as in Karloff's original.

Mutant Chronicles - Mutant's got jealous of Martians and decided to do their own weekly newspaper. Sorry. I have no idea.

My Favorite Martian - Well we've seen the poster. Cute. But what else is going on with it?

My Life As A Girl - by Kim Krizan, fantastic script, funny as hell. We'll see.

Mystery Men - fun superhero project. I'll keep my eye on it.

Neanderthal - best selling super cool book. Heard that Spielberg liked it, but then I heard Spielberg likes alot of stuff, don't mean he's gonna make it. Could be amazing.

The Negotiator - Stallone dropped out... Samuel L Jackson (aka THE MAN) took his place. Kevin Spacey's in it too. Yeah that's drool coming out of your mouth.

Nemo - The early days of Nemo, yeah the 20,000 Leagues Beneath The Sea guy.

Neverwhere - Gaiman + Henson= Coooooool. Pick up the book, it's a damn good read.

The Newton Boys - Richard Linklater's Western. It's been testing pretty dang good. I hope it's real good. Cause then Richard can make that remake of Dirty Mama he was born to do.

The Nutty Professor 2 - by Steve Oedekerk, The script is funny as hell. This time there is a bit of estrogen at work.

Odd Couple 2: Travelin' Light - Apparently it has tested pretty good.

Payback (formerly Parker) - The part of Parker doesn't really fit Mel in my mind, but maybe with some damn good acting he can pull it off.

Phantoms - You've seen the trailers, and Weta did some of the effects. It'll be interesting to see how it works. Dimension is on one hell of a streak.

Planet of the Apes - I've heard Graham Yost is about 3/4 of the way through his script, and that it ain't all that great, but then it's just a first draft. Sources involved in the project say he isn't all that interested in the material, and wants to produce. But who knows?

Plastic Man - At one point a really cool script by the BOUND guys was being made. But the digital stretchy hair was a problem, so it's back to R & D.

Predator 3 - Robert Rodriguez wrote an allegedly kickass script. Turned it in, and that's the last anyone has heard of it. I do know that Dutch was back.

Primary Colors - The trailers are hitting, and everyone is a bit stunned by Travolta's Clinton. It's testing mostly positive so far.

Prince of Egypt - I wish someone that has seen that opening 7 minutes would give me a detailed review of it. I'm dying to hear more on this project.

Prince Valiant - This was a project filming over in England (I believe) I loved Hal Foster's Prince Valiant. I loved the Robert Conrad, Sterling Hayden, James Mason version. Yes I know I'm in the minority on that one. But damn Janet Leigh looked fine. And if Lucas didn't rip that Jedi ending from the old Prince Valiant, then I'm Harry Knowles.

The Prisoner - Please someone fill me in, I get so much email asking about this project, I have to tell them something.

The Quest for Camelot - a troubled animated project by all accounts, but ultimately it's the finished project that is important. We'll see.

RKO 281 - I wish I had the script to this one, It's supposed to be great. Hope it gets made.

Rendezvous With Rama - David Fincher project that I know nothing about. Fill me in please.

The Replacement Killers - Initial test screenings went bad. Then the next batch went much better. The trailer gets applause here in Austin, Chow is a god, Mira is a goddess. I'm there.

Revenge of the Mask - How hard can it be to come up with a cool "MASK" movie? I mean sheeshus. I don't know about you, but anyone that was a Tex Avery/Betty Boop fetishist should be able to bang it out in no time. But maybe... they want to do something special.

Ridley Scott's Metropolis - Top secret coolness, rumor has it that it is a sci-fi flick. It's not suppose to be a remake of Fritz Lang's classic masterpiece.

The Rock 2 - A heartfelt reunion on Alcatraz goes terribly wrong when Mason snaps and turns into an evil genius out to rule the world with slingshots. As you can see I have heard nothing of significance on this project.

Roger Rabbit 2 - At one point this was going to be a prequel, and Roger and buddies were going to fight Hitler. Coulda been cool.

Ronin - We'll see.

Rush Hour - Brett Ratner teams Jackie Chan and Chris Tucker up for his second film. Pretty neat film.

Rushmore - Bill Murray and folks are filming. Brought to us by the makers of that cool indie BOTTLE ROCKET. It's filming right now. Any reports?

The Sandman - Yeah right.

Saving Private Ryan - by Robert Rodat and Frank Darabont, Matt Damon said "Next Year's Best Picture" confidence sure is fun isn't it? Cool poster eh Garth?

Scooby-Doo - Titley had a cool as hell script. But when Warners acquired Turner, it was tossed. Now they are adapting a non-Scooby ghost story. Ugh, they could have saved money and done the Titley draft. PLEASE NO MIKE MYERS AS SHAGGY, PLEASE SAY IT'S NOT TRUE!!!

Scream 3 - Takes place in Hollywood. Sydney decides to make a horror film to fight her inner demons. The script for the horror film in the horror film is written by a mysterious deceased character. (this is the latest rumor bopping around the world.)

Shooter - by Nicholas Cazan adapted from the novel Point of Impact

Small Soldiers - Joe Dante is making a movie again!!!!! Criticism I've been hearing is that it is Gremlins with Toys. So?

Snake Eyes - DePalma's latest. I'm dying to see DePalma kick all of our asses again. So I'm rooting for this one. The script is pretty damn good, and it has some PERFECT DePalma moments throughout. Should be fine.

Snow Crash - Great damn book. How's the film coming along?

Soldier by David Webb Peoples A Warner Bros. Film - Sets are being built. Kurt Russell is well rested after his 1 year or so from film. Director of Mortal Kombat and Event Horizon is in charge. His films have come close both times but haven't quite done it for me yet. The script is there for this puppy, let's see how production goes.

Spawn 2 - I haven't heard a peep on this one.

Species 2: Offspring - Guilty pleasure.

Speed Racer - Remember when Gus Van Sant was directing Johnny Depp as Speed Racer and Nicholas Cage as Racer X? Then the film fell apart. Well apparently the project is alive with different players now.

Sphere - There was a test screening in San Francisco about 2 weeks ago, did you see it?

Spider-Man - The project James Cameron was born to direct. If you are standing between him and the project, you best remove yourself. Mountains need to be moved to make this project happen, I say... START MOVING EM!!!

Star Trek 9 - It'll start up anytime now. It's got a Thanksgiving arrival date. It's suppose to be more character based and less action orientated, kinda like #4

Star Wars, Episode 1, Episode 2, Episode 3 - I have found there really isn't much interest in these films, expect a slow opening weekend. Uh huh.

A Stitch In Time - by Frank Darabont. I've heard great things about this script... but that was long ago.

Superman Lives - It has a summer start now. Apparently the script still isn't there yet, but the production design is very good. Let's see what happens here. I love Burton's films, but I have to say again, Bruce Timm, Paul Dini and Alan Burnett should be in control.

Supernova - Some sort of Nimziki thing happening here.

Supertanker - Emmerich & Devlin & Bill Pullman do something with a big big ship. Ummm Titanic was real good.

Suspect Zero - by Zack Penn, interesting project, you'll be hearing more on this one soon.

SWAT - by Ron Mita, John Milius and Arnold are rumored to be involved. Imagine a mobile "Assault on Precinct 13" and you have a good idea. Best damn hook for an action nightmare in a long time.

The Talented Mr Ripley - Screenplay by Anthony Mingheila - what do ya know?

Tarzan - Disney, ya know what? These Disney animated scripts are IMPOSSIBLE to get. They simply do not seem to exist. It's remarkable really.

Tarzan and Jane - One person has reported seeing it and hating it. It's the live action Caspar Van Diem film. I wanna know where the George Cosmatos version is coming along.

Terminator 3 - new rights problems, and Cameron's sudden infliction of disinterest doomed the project. Arnold says he'll never make one without James, I agree with Arnold.

Texas Blood Money (the From Dusk Till Dawn sequel) - I'm real curious about this and the other one. Got any news?

The Thief of Always - It is an animated Clive Barker film. It's been being worked on for a long time.

The Thin Red Line - by Terrence Malick, Starring everybody and their brother. I'm dying to see the first trailer on this baby.

The Tick - How could ya not be interested?

Time Bandits 2 - I love the original, this could be an awesome film if handled with that same insanity the first one had.

Tomb Raider - It's in the scripting phase right now I understand. I'll know more later.

Total Recall 2 - Is Riker directing it?

The Truman Show - Test audiences are loving it, but the studio is going insane trying to figure out how to market it.

Twister 2 - Tornadoes get tired of having tin can pieces flying in them and chase Paxton and Hunt to Hollywood. I have no idea what they plan on doing, but it's gotta be worse.

U.S. Marshals - Robert Downey Jr finished his work on this one, and the script is pretty cool. It has a chance to be pretty good.

The Vampire Lestat - I've heard no movement on the script, which means there would be no movement on the film. Besides, Tom's still doing EWS.

John Carpenter's Vampires - It should be getting ready for test screening. Keep your eyes open, there's a new Carpenter film out there, and it needs to be cool.

Virus - Not much has been coming from the set and post production. Anyone seen it?

Warhead 2000 A.D. - Well geez... Sony is now wooing everyone from Emmerich and Devlin to Sean Connery for this one. I love competition, don't you?

THe Watchmen by Sam Hamm from the graphic novel by Alan Moore, my pick for project that deserves it's $100 million dollar plus budget. I say let Terry Gilliam go to town on this baby.

What Dreams May Come - by Ronald Bass from the novel by Richard Matheson, it'll be a thing of beauty. If you know ANYTHING or have seen ANYTHING... let me know.

Why Can't I Be Audrey Hepburn? - Dreamworks project, about a chick with a long neck. Right?

The Wild, Wild West - Well this project is in turmoil due to Clooney jumping ship. There is some fantastic production design going on with Bo Welch's team. I can't wait to see some of it. The reports are that this one could be a gigantic winner.

Wing Commander: The Movie - I've seen some of the work they are doing on this. It's pretty cool stuff. They are attempting some real zero g, ship stuff that rocks. We'll see.

With Wings As Eagles - by Randall Wallace from Ostermann's War, The movie that'll give Arnold some acting credit. A tremendous script, and a great story. I want to see this film made.

Without Remorse - by John Milius from novel by Tom Clancy, last thing I heard was that Kurt Russell was thinking of following SOLDIER up with this.

Wonder Woman - in a million years they would team her with that short fat female character from the Golden Age.

World War III - by Jason Hightman, Intense damn film. If a serious film maker got ahold of this, a GREAT film could be made. This script gave me the heebie jeebies. After seeing this film, you couldn't commit to a third world war. I really want this film handled with respect, by quality film makers and a budget to realize it.

X - The Man With the X-Ray Eyes - Has anyone seen this script? I'm dying to. I love the old Ray Milland version, what a classic one-sheet that one had.

The X-Files - a stunning drama about pedicurists, who lost their jobs and their equipment.

X-Men - Brian Singer will direct this one, and this or Hensleigh's Hulk will end the Marvel Drought. Let's hope both do.
