Animated trailer for TALES OF THE BLACK FREIGHTER premieres! It's sharktacularly awesome!

Ahoy, squirts! Quint here. Wow, this looks awesome. I loved the concept of having the full TALES OF THE BLACK FREIGHTER story-within-a-story in WATCHMEN being done and having it be animated isn't a bad idea either. But with that idea came concern that if the production couldn't afford to do it live-action that the animation wouldn't be quality. Now that I've seen the below-linked trailer, all my fears are put to bed. It looks sharp, it looks beautiful and it looks badass. And Gerard Butler's voice seems perfectly suited for the material. Is it just me or does this remind you of a smoother AEON FLUX-type animation? Can't wait to see all this come together! We're less than a month away! MTV has the premiere of the trailer here!
