Well folks, it looks as if ol Bruce Davison, veteren of such 'genre' films as WILLARD, CLOSE ENCOUNTERS OF THE THIRD KIND, SPIES LIKE US as well as Bryan Singer's last film... APT PUPIL. Well, the word I hear is that it looks like there may be a deal for him to play that pesky Senator Kelly. You see... In this X-MEN film, hatred and fear for Mutant-kind has already taken hold... Senator Kelly is one of the most rabid anti-mutant campaigners.... Sort of along the lines of good ol Senator Joseph McCarthy.
