I am – Hercules!!
Twentieth Century Fox will now partner on Walden Media’s Narnia movies following Disney’s decision last month to pull out of the franchise.
I’m sure many will share my level of excitement as the studio behind “Eragon” is now helping to steer the adventures of the plucky Pevensie clan.
The first Fox entry in the saga will be “The Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader.” Fox and Walden are aiming for a $140 million budget, considerably less money than was employed by the two Disney chapters.
Fox's 2008 theatrical distribution output included such genre titles as "Nim's Island," "Jumper," "The Happening," "Meet Dave," "Space Chimps," "The X-Files: I Want To Believe," "Babylon A.D.," "City of Ember," "Max Payne" and "The Day The Earth Stood Still."
