More On Cameron's Next Project(s)'!'!'!

Then this fella named Dr. Scarabus sat in his chair conjuring up the following bits toying with me as if I were Dr. Adolphus Bedlo, though I wish I had that feathered coat, might keep me warm in this coldness I'm experiencing.

On the whole what's next for Cameron thing, I thought I'd throw in a few tidbits for ya:

Firstly, The Planet of the Apes news was also in Variety (I think, might have been the Reporter). JC will be Producing, so they said, through Lightstorm.

Secondly, the whole sun exploding bit sounds suspiciously like a project I heard wind of while I was at DD called '20 Billion', which involved something along the lines of the 10 richest men in the world each paying for their own project to get them and whatever else they wanted off the planet, which of course was doomed for some reason....for what I do not know. I never heard of that as a JC project, just a movie that Digital Domain had been bidding on.

Thirdly, 'Bright Angel Falling', last I heard, was 100% dead as a doornail, which I personally find depressing, as it was an *increadible* JC crafted script. Have you read that one? White knuckle read, front to back. Apparently, whomever would be doing distrabution for BAF somehow came in conflict with Deep Impact I think, and since Deep Impact was further along in development, BAF got shelved. I would love to see BAF realized--great scene where the hero witnesses one of the meteor fragments hit the Caribbean from space, and can actually see the resulting tidal wave from orbit radiating out in all directions. Big time wow stuff.
