A while back, we learned about a new Nicolas Cage project called SEASON OF THE WITCH (HERE). This is unrelated to the 1981 HALLOWEEN non-sequel which carried SEASON OF THE WITCH as a subtitle.
SEASON OF THE WITCH (Cage version) is directed by Dominic Sena (the GONE IN SIXTY SECONDS remake) & is about a knight charged with hauling a "witch"...suspected of being the source of the Black Plague...to a monastery where they'll determine if she's the cause of the horror.
Now USA TODAY has a first look at Cage in knightly character.
