Well, it wasn't just because their executives secretly play the game over the network at the office when no one's looking. Apparently they're hoping to snag the same actor who wants to do that little picture called "S.W.A.T.". That's right, Arnold Schwarzenegger himself is taking a closer look at the "Doom" project now that his relationship with Warners is starting to wither away. The possibilities of this happening is highly likely considering there's more than just the film to market. Schwarzenegger is looking at receiving potential merchandising rights to a new and improved ID computer game, a new line of toy action figures, t-shirts, etc. if he were to sign onto the "Doom" picture. Hey, its better than that silly Turbo Man action figure and Mr. Freeze doll! What makes this picture so appealing to Arnold right now is that it deals with "Space Aliens", which right now is a politically correct subject matter to point your bazooka at.
