According to industry sources familiar with the situation, ABC has decided not to produce any more episodes of the critically beloved show this season. Word of the show's apparent death began spreading around Hollywood Thursday morning, though an ABC spokeswoman insisted no decision has been made on the show's fate. It’s especially disappointing speculation considering ABC could have easily formed an all sci-fi Wednesday night. The network has already scheduled “Lost” for 9 p.m. and “Life on Mars” for 10 p.m. that night. “Daisies” currently airs 8 p.m. Wednesdays. The good news is series mastermind Bryan Fuller says he’s sufficiently invested in the project to finish telling the tale of Ned, Chuck, Emerson and Olive via funnybook and maybe a movie if this really is the end.
