Astronaut George Taylor apparently has access to top secret listening and x-ray satellite equipment, or else is a creative imagineer, because this info sounds either extremely intimate or is a work of fiction. Hmmmmm. true false true false true false true? I don't know, but maybe one of you out there knows... We definately need to see what the latest drafts of this script looks like!!!
Planet of the Apes.
Apparently Arnold Schwarzenneger bought the rights to the series from Fox. Jim Cameron was over at Big Arnies house for dinner one night when they went to have a game of pool. During the game Jim had to 'go shake hands with the man' on the way back he saw all of these drawings up on the wall in a corridor he asked Arnold what they were for adn he said that they were from Planet of the Apes Jim said that it was one of his favourite movies ever.
Arnold went into Fox and said he wanted a $140 Mill budget. Fox said no we'll give you $80 mill. Arnold said "Who da hell am I going tra get to make dis film for $70". Fox said why don't you ask Jim Cameron, he may want to work on a small budget feature after TITANIC. So Arnold goes to Jim and asks him. Jim says let me read the script. He read it and returns it to Arnold with twenty pages of new stuff he had written. So he apparently has been brought on board to direct as of about two weeks ago.
ALSO the Production Manager is coming out here to Sydney in mid January to check out the new studios. If they are ready in time it is said they will shoot here. I sure hope they do. Jim if your reading this come to Sydney man you'll love it.
