Despite diminished ratings, Fox has decided to give “Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles” an additional nine episodes, expanding its second season to 22. The move is particularly curious because “Terminator” is not on the mid-season slate Fox announced in May. One wonders what Fox intends to drop to make room. Might the netlet be ready to throw the intended-for-Friday sitcom “Til Death” into the scrap heap alongside “Do Not Disturb”? Worse yet, is Fox considering moving Joss Whedon’s “Dollhouse” to its "Firefly"-mauling Friday Death Slot so “Terminator” can retain its Monday berth??
