I am – Hercules!! David Cronenberg (“Eastern Promises”) is negotiating to direct “The Matarese Circle,” adapted from the Robert Ludlum novel by Michael Brandt and Derek Haas ("3:10 to Yuma"). Denzel Washington is attached to star in the MGM political thriller. Variety describes the premise:
