Martin Scorsese may direct Robert De Niro in a big screen version of Charles Brandt's 2005 book “I Heard You Paint Houses,” adapted into a screenplay by the great Steve Zaillian (“Schindler’s List,” “Searching For Bobby Fischer” “Gangs of New York”). The Paramount project would see De Niro play hitman Frank "The Irishman" Sheeran, who claimed he murdered and dismembered union boss Jimmy Hoffa.
