News on URBAN LEGEND II

Now I know I'm in the minority on this one, but I had a perverse sick and twisted bit of fun with the first URBAN LEGEND. I thought it was... ahem... so terrible that it was a blast. I howled in laughter at the load of excrement and then I laughed again.
It was a Grade Z horror-teen-thingee... and well, what would that be if you didn't do a sequel or two right?
Well, instead of speaking with a ton of sarcasm on this project, I've actually got a bit of excitement for the project.
OH DEAR LORD NO!!! NOT THAT HARRY!!!
Yeah yeah yeaaaah, laugh it up. I'm serious, and the reason is Pheonix Pictures apparently just signed Composer/Editor John Ottman to direct this sequel. Neal Moritz is back as the producer, and the word is that there are some heavy duty rewrites at the request of John to get the script in shape. And it's shooting is supposed to begin this September.
Now for the concern... IF Ottman disappears into shooting and directing URBAN LEGEND II... Will he be Bryan Singer's editor and composer on X-MEN which has the same start date? God I hope Ottman either ditches this or does have the time for both cause I really am jonesed about an X-MEN score from John Ottman. Of course maybe that's just me?
