The talkbacks are going to be very curious on this one. Oliver Stone's W is a fascinating project. It weirds me out how in the trailer not one person looks like the people they're playing, but at the same time they look EXACTLY like the people they're playing. I don't know how the hell Stone does that, but it adds a very surreal layer onto everything.
Now we got ourselves a first look at the W teaser poster, which strangely enough reminds of the Apatow comedy posters like 40 YEAR OLD VIRGIN and STEP-BROTHERS and KNOCKED UP, with the poster just being a photo of the main character. That's not a bad thing... I quite like the look of the poster, actually, just something that occurred to me when I first opened it up.
This whole thing is strange, but a good strange. Can't wait to see what the final product ends up being.
