Warner Bros. and Capcom Send David Hayter to a LOST PLANET

Beaks here... E3 is underway here in Los Angeles, and it looks like the big news for Tuesday - as far as the film industry is concerned - is that Capcom and Warner Brothers are partnering on a big screen transfer of LOST PLANET. I've never played the game myself, but it's probably a good thing that they've signed David Hayter on to write the screenplay, seein' as how he's got mad street cred from being the voice of Solid Snake in METAL GEAR SOLID. The game apparently deals with the quest for a life-sustaining energy source emanating from an icy planet. I imagine this energy source is protected by lots of nasty creatures that need shooted. Chances LOST PLANET winds up being better than the Steven E. de Souza-directed STREET FIGHTER: not good.
