The BryMan in the Aussie land tells me that the Sydney Morney Herald contained the following about 3001: THE FINAL ODYSSEY. Just to let ya know that talks are going on...
Those who always thought Arthur C. Clarke a bit odd could well have their suspicions confirmed tonight when Foreign Correspondent's Mark Corcoran meets the man at his Sri Lankan digs. Clarke's first words to Corcoran were: "Greetings, carbon-based biped," which would have sent a lesser man fleeing. Corcoran, however, stayed and discovered, that at 81, Clarke is busy battling aliens in his own computer game, Rama, and he's negotiating with Tom Hanks to direct 3001: The Final Odyssey. Clarke was not so forthcoming when it came to questions about his sex life.
