Rob Lowe and GREMLINS 3

Harry here. Well... Seems like there may very well be a GREMLINS 3 floating around the woodwork after all. Last we heard of this was waaaay back in January of this year. Word had it, that given the fascination with Furbies... and depending on the sales of the Gremlin Furby, Warners or Amblin may very well revive the franchise. That was all extreme rumor, and we hadn't heard a peep since.... Until last night when Rob Lowe was being interviewed on CNN's Hollywood show about AUSTIN POWERS 2, and commented that he'd next be filming on GREMLINS 3..

WHAT?!?!?! Ok folks. Let's see what you guys can find out. Is Joe Dante doing this? Is Phoebe Cates doing this? Is Dick Miller doing this? Will Kevin McCarthy play a role this time? Charlie Chan's number one son is no longer with us... and without him... well... that universe will be a little more glum. Let's keep an ear out for this one!
