The epic struggle to bring...I DREAM OF JEANNIE...to the big screen continues. MULAN/TOY STORY 2 co-scripter Rita Hsiao is now the latest in a long line of screenwriters drafted to transform the 60s TV series into a feature film.

"This is such a beloved and iconic character that it has to be told the right way," he said. "You have a loyalty to the character that has to exist, and sometimes it takes time to get there."
