A few days back, a particularly scathing review of M. Night Shyamalan’s THE HAPPENING hit the Nets. You can find that review HERE. In the piece, the reviewer states that THE HAPPENING offers the worst performance by Mark Wahlberg ever. Still, I couldn't help but think the writer may've been over exaggerating a bit. Then I saw an extended clip from the film, posted by Yahoo movies. And...yowza. Said clip also features an introduction to/rationalization for the film by M. Night.

Between this and MAX PAYNE, 2008 doesn't look to be a particularly good year for Wahlberg. Ah, well, there's always hope for a Funky Bunch reunion.
