The QUANTUM OF SOLACE Theme Song Has Issues (Besides The Title)...

This shouldn't come as a particular surprise, but Mark Ronson (singer Amy Winehouse's producer) says her recording of the theme song for QUANTUM OF SOLACE has hit a few snags. Seems Winehouse is "not ready to record any music" according to Ronson, and prep work on the track has ceased altogether.

Ronson said the two started work on the track for the upcoming Bond movie "Quantum of Solace," but it would take "some miracle of science" to finish it.

One would presume they're not trying to shoehorn the words "QUANTUM OF SOLACE" into the lyrics - such a feat would seem damn near impossible (go ahead, Talkbackers...give it your best shot!). If they are trying to use it? No wonder they're not getting anywhere. Never been a big Winehouse fan myself, so I'm not too broken up by this. We'll report back when we get word of who'll be stepping in.
