Haven't heard too much about this flick, sounds like an interesting premise and story. Seems a bit deeper than the regular Bruckheimer material. That's good, I guess. Anyways, here's the tidbit...
This probably means nothing to you, but Joan Allen is shooting a movie here in Dublin, Ireland. It's called Though The Sky May Fall, and is based on the life story of journalist Veronica Guerin. She was shot dead in 1996 in her car at a traffic stop, because she was about to print a major story about Irish Arch Criminals. She had previously been shot a year earlier because of another story. Before killing her, they even offered her a Million pounds ($1.6 Mil) to keep her mouth shut.
Anyways, it also stars Irish actor Patrick Bergin, though the local media keep printing his name as Pierce Brosnan for some reason?!
The story was previously attached to Jerry Bruckheimer of all people, and Winona Ryder had been spotted by many researching the role.
Anyhow, shooting started about ten days ago and will continue for about another 4-5 weeks.
Anything else comes up, I'll be sure to shout you...
Jerry Maguire
