Last week came rumblings that TALES OF AN ANCIENT EMPIRE was gearing-up for production. You can find that article HERE.
A few more details have emerged about the film, which is a pseudo-sequel to 1982's THE SWORD AND THE SORCERER (Box Office Mojo identifies SWORD as the 7th highest-grossing sword & sorcery movie of all time...even above EXCALIBUR!)
Yancy Butler (WITCHBLADE)...
and Leah Cairns ("Racetrack" on BATTLESTAR GALACTICA)...
...have officially jumped on-board TALES, joining Christopher Lambert and Kevin Sorbo. Yancy plays half-sister to Lambert, Sorbo, and Victoria Maurette (image HERE).
The project rolls May 5th in Argentina (Buenos Aires) & will end its shoot in Tunisia.
And...
The three-bladed sword wielded in the first film will make some sort of appearance here. Be still my geeky heart!
