What Happens When The U.S. Military Won't Help Greengrass Shoot A Movie??

Merrick here...
The Moroccan Filmmaker sent in this note about & some images from the filming of Paul Greengrass' GREEN ZONE, which should hit theaters next year. It's based on the book Imperial Life in the Emerald City by Rajiv Chandrasekaran (available HERE) and is about the U.S. occupation of Iraq. It's being adapted by Brian Helgeland (writer and/or director of PAYBACK & A KNIGHT'S TALE), and stars Matt Damon, Jason Isaacs and Greg Kinnear.
Here's The Moroccan Filmmaker's note, followed by images.
I stumbled this Sunday on the shoot of Paul Greengrass's film 'Green Zone' in my hometown, Mohammedia. I managed to take some quick pics although it was not allowed and i talked to some English members of the crew. The film is based on Rajiv Chandrasekaran's book 'Imperial Life in the Emerald City' who was the former Baghdad (Iraq) Bureau Chief of the Washington Post. The American Army refused to help the making of this film because of its critical stance towards the occupation of Iraq. So i was told that all the army equipment used in this film belongs to the Moroccan army, and that there will be also some CGI work done for material that the Moroccan army doesn't have.

THE FIRST THREE IMAGES CAN BE EMBIGGENED!!!
