We've already heard that SUPERNATURAL's Jared Padalecki would star in Platnium Dune's forthcoming remake of FRIDAY THE 13th. Now comes word that Jensen Ackles, his brother in the series, will appear in MY BLOODY VALENTINE 3-D. This is a remake of the 1981 film of the same name, but 3-D-ified.
Ackles will play Tom, a handsome, principled man who returns to his home in Harmony, Mo., 10 years after 22 people were murdered on Valentine's night. Back in Montana, Tom finds he still is smitten with his first love, Sarah (Jaime King), and is now a murder suspect.

The film will be directed by Patrick Lussier (DRACULA 2000), who is also highly experienced editor with a nutty variety of credits (
21 JUMP STREET, DOCTOR WHO, the HIGHLANDER TV series, Wes Craven's RED EYE, MACGYVER, several SCREAM installments).
