Recently, I wrote about the bizarre changes made to the domestic trailer for INDIANA JONES & THE KINGDOM OF THE CRYSTAL SKULL. There are often strange changes made to “sanitize” a trailer, and today, we’ve got a great example for you. Harry screened MONGOL at this year’s BNAT, and it’s a groovy retelling of the Genghis Khan story, although told as legend more than fact. We’ve got the original cut of the trailer for you, which you’ll only find here at AICN, and then we’ve got the MPAA approved version. See if you can spot the difference. Even better, see if you can imagine forcing a company to cut that shot in order to get their trailer certified. Fascinating stuff...
