Number Five is under the control of Bob Weinstein! Poor Johnny Five!

Ahoy, squirts! Quint here. We've been hearing word of a SHORT CIRCUIT remake for a little while now, but it seems that Bob Weinstein is now making the flick at Dimension. The good news is they're bringing SHORT CIRCUIT creators SS Wilson and Brent Maddock in to script. They wrote the original two films and will be writing the remake. Now the real question... will they write in a character for Steve Guttenberg and will we see Fisher Stevens anywhere in this project? Will they find someone as adorable as Ally Sheedy was in the original? And, maybe most importantly, will we be able to recognize Johnny Five as a character? Will Tim Blaney return for his voice? Us children of the '80s MUST HAVE ANSWERS TO THESE QUESTIONS!
